PSRI announces Bursaries for LCLS User meeting
The Photon Science Research Institute of STFC is pleased to announce that it will be offering up to ten bursaries of up to 1.3k to allowing scientists from UK academic institutions who are interested in using 4th generation sources to attend either of two meetings to be held at LCLS in SLAC. The first meeting is a workshop on hard x-ray upgrades: July 29-31, 2009, for which applications should be submitted as soon as possible, and the second meeting is the LCLS Users' Meeting, to be held from October 18-21, 2009, for which applications should be submitted by 13th August 2009.
Applications should be sent as an email to Professor Justin Wark, Chief Scientist of the PSRI, and should include a brief paragraph outlining the motivation for attending the relevant workshop/meeting. Applications will be considered by the board of PSRI, and successful applicants notified within a few days of the closing date.
