European XFEL Users' Meeting: Bursaries
The 4th European XFEL Users' Meeting will be held at DESY Hamburg on January 27-29, 2010. The meeting will be organized jointly with the HASYLAB Users' Meeting 2010.
The program comprises:
- Jan 27, all day, Plenary sessions European XFEL (Welcome, Project status, Workshop reports, Science session on Coherence Applications)
- Jan 28, morning, Plenary session Soft X-ray FEL / FLASH experiments (jointly organized with HASYLAB Users' Meeting)
- Jan 29, afternoon, Poster session (jointly organized with HASYLAB Users' Meeting)
In the afternoon of Jan 28 room is given to satellite meetings and an evening lecture. In the morning of Jan 29 the plenary session of the HASYLAB Users' Meeting 2010 will take place.
We are happy to announce that, due to support by the European Commission, we are able to offer to a limited number of young scientists a financial contribution of up to 600 €, depending on distance, towards travel and living expenses. All current PhD students, as well as scientists who obtained their doctoral degree after 01.01.2008 are eligible. We encourage you to forward this information to science graduate students or recent PhD's who might be interested. Deadline for application is Jan 4, 2010.
